Fearful Dose

This game is about a man trapped in his own mind, struggling with hallucinations. Once, he found hope in the love of his girlfriend, who helped him cope with his inner struggles. But after losing her, everything fell apart. His hallucinations became so real that he overdoses and enters a distorted dream, wandering through unsettling rooms filled with his memories and fears. The guilt of her death haunts him as he faces his darkest thoughts.

Mechanics:

The Withdrawal bar 

This bar tracks how long the player can go without cigarettes. If it runs out, the player experiences withdrawal effects, such as impaired movement or vision. To prevent this, the player must search the environment to locate cigarettes and reset the timer before it’s too late.

The Panic bar

The panic bar changes color to black in areas where the player can experience hallucinations. If it reaches a critical level - when it breaks, the player begins to experience hallucinations, distorting the vison and creating false threats. The player can avoid this by finding and taking pills to reduce panic levels.
